Tourist Card
Every person going to Cuba as a tourist only needs a valid passport and a tourist card (it works as a visa) that can be obtained from a travel agency or in our Consulate in Ankara.
If you apply for your tourist card at the Consulate you can do it personally. Bring your passport, the tourist card form (which you can download here) and need to pay 44.00 YTL. It can be done in one day. You can also do it by regular mail. You should send the form, put 84.00 YTL in bank (44.00 for the tourist card and 40.00 for non-in-person procedure fee), a photocopy of the main page of your passport.
The tourist card allows its holder to stay in Cuba for 30 days from the date of entry into the country, and is valid for 1 entry into Cuba. For a stay of more than 30 days, one can request an extension of another month at any tourism office in Cuba. Children, regardless of their age, also require a tourist card, even if they are registered on their parents' passports.
Personal Visa
Personal visa is only given to people with close relatives in Cuba or people married to a Cuban citizen.
- Complete the application form and send it to the Cuban Consulate with the Passport or the photocopy of the main page. You may obtain the application form at the Consulate or through the link below.
- The authorization procedure to issue this visa takes, from the date the Consulate receives the completed application form.
- The cost for the personal visa is 100 YTL.
- When the requested is not done in person, add 40 YTL as well as the pre-paid messenger service.

Student Visa
This visa is given to people who are going to Cuba to study or do research at a higher education center (university or institute) or at a research or training center and who have previously contacted the center and have been accepted by it.
As a first step the applicant should get in contact with the center and apply for a study or training course. Later the center will request a visa for the applicant to the Cuban Government (Immigration) and once the permit or visa is granted, the Cuban authorities will notify our Consulate to issue the visa for the applicant.
Applicants should bring the Student Visa form, which they can download in this page. The payment of the visa request is 40 YTL and for granting 100 YTL (total 140 YTL). The payment can be done in cash. If the applicant decide not to do it personally coming to our Embassy then he/she can also do it by regular mail and pay the applicable fee for non-in-person procedure. The applicant should send the passport, the form already filled in, the payment for the amount of the services plus 40 YTL for the non-in-person procedure fee, and a prepaid envelope so we can send it back to him/her together with the receipt.
Bussiness Visa
- Complete the application form and send it. You can obtain the a the application form directly to the Cuban Embassy or through the link above.
- With the application form, send also the Passport or a photocopy of the main page.
- The authorization process to issue these visas takes at least 15 days from the date the Consulate receives the completed application forms.
- The cost for a Business Visa is 140 YTL (for the request and the confer).
- When the request is not done in person, add 40 YTL and a pre-paid messenger service envelope to return your documents.

To invite a Cuban citizen to visit Turkey
- The first step is to issue a LETTER OF INVITATION, legal document in which the person who invites makes a commitment to afford all the expenses of the invited person (trip and stay). Charge is 320.00 YTL. The Cuban Consulate will send the Letter to Cuba.
- Consultoría Juridica Internacional, receive the document and will contact the invited person to continue the process.
- The Letter of Invitation is valid for one year, to allow the person to choose the appropriate moment to travel.

Consular Invoice
Consular Invoices are needed for parcels going to Cuba when the total cost of the products are over 100 cuc and are sent by the regular mail or a courrier. All the products being sent should be declared in the Consular Invoice and you can request this service at any of our Consulates. A violation of any of the Customs Regulations can lead to the seizure of products.
